The year 2018 witnessed the amendments and updates to the Toxic Chemical Substance Control Act (TCSCA) and the corresponding registration regulations under it. Meanwhile the updates have raised awareness and drawn attention not only in Taiwan itself, but domestically and globally. In particular, Priority Existing Chemical Substances (PECs) standard registration will kick off in the year 2019. Industry will face the challenge of preparing for the registration under non-mandatory joint registration. On the other hand, unclear guidance and different rumours are currently the biggest issues for industry.
This webinar will enable you to understand the procedure and mechanism for upcoming PECs registration and show the way to get things prepared in advance before the registration of PECs officially launched. In addition, Taiwan MOL/SAHTECH has implemented more strict requirements on Safety Data Sheets (SDS), as hazard communication like the SDS and label have always been the main concern of the local customs and play an important role among the supply chains. This webinar will spend some time focussing on the implementation of Taiwan GHS, more specifically, focus on some specific SDS and label elements and requirements to facilitate the commercial trading.
